Today was a better day........

So today was better. I was able to get the 5 docs certified at the county clerk's office today. In the morning I am off to the post office to send it to the Secretary of State.

I have a few pictures to post, I will do that tomorrow.

Thwarted at every turn!

Ok, what a day. I worked all last week and this week to get items notarized. Thinking I was good to go, I headed out with all three children in tow. The two year old was in rare form. The items I had done at the bank were not worth a hoot. The reason being, when the county clerk pulled their signatures, they had PRINTED their names on the county clerk records and signed my notarized items.

So after a teary eyed walk out of the courthouse and Taco Bell/McD's for lunch I am ok now. My neighbor is saving the day. (Remember she notarized stuff for me. Hers was the only one that went through with flying colors). She is coming over this evening and notarizing the rest for me.

I will be off to BG again tomorrow.

Ready to Head to the County Clerk!!

So finally today I have all the documents that I can control notarized. My next step is to head to Bowling Green and have the county clerk verify the three ladies I had notarize the documents have a valid notary on file with them.
Then it heads to the Ohio Secretary of State, to be stamped.

Notarizing Documents

Tim and I were able to notarize a few of the adoption dossier documents on Saturday. My neighbor is a notary at a bank and offered to do the rest for me. WOOHOO! I am hoping to do my running to the county clerk this week and then send it out to the secretary of state on Saturday.

Right now the biggest hurdle is the the I800A for immigration.

Not a lot going on here on the home front. I snapped a few pictures the other night of Christian and Carter. Chandler was too fast for me to get a photo.

Going Swimming!

The neighbor across the street is nice enough to invite us to go swimming. I took these just before we went over.

Both little boys do great in the water with the arm floats. Christian even went down their slide!

Where is Chandler? He was at Jo's (Tim's Mom) house.

Basement Flooding

Guess what we woke up to today? A flooded basement. Oh yeah, good times. I ran out and bought stuff to help with the clean up. We are still in the get the water out phase.

Name

I know it is early yet, but I think we have decided on a name for our daughter. Let me tell you the ones that I liked that Tim shot down. Kwynn, Chaney, Channing, Callie, Callahan; you notice that they all have the C sound to stick with the C theme in our house.

Ok the name is Kiera. Pronounced KEER UH. Not sure how to spell it yet. Keira, Kiera, Kyra. I like Kyra.

The middle name will incorporate her Chinese name that was given to her.

Chandler's New Summer Hair

Well it is that time of year again, it is mohawk season. Yes, Chandler has a mohawk this summer again. This time I let him dye it blue, although in the pictures it looks black. Enjoy!
