I keep hearing these horrific stories of adults and their tonsil removal. Somethings I am hearing, "I called 911 because I woke up with a mouthful of blood. I almost bled to death.", "It was the most awful pain in my entire life." "You will have good days and bad days. You will not feel
normal until about 4 weeks later."
When pre-admitting called today, I requested to be asleep before the IV was put in. Turns out as an adult you are SOL on that. (Did you read that Katie?) There are possible complications to that scenerio. So I will have to suck it up and get one while awake.
So if you are the praying type, please pray for me to have a speedy recovery that is uneventful.
