Tonsils and My Granny

I bought the ticket for Granny to head north. She is coming to take care of me and the boys after my tonsils come out. Yes, that is right I am 32 and getting them out. I keep hearing all these horrible stories. It is like when you are pregnant the first time and people feel compelled to tell you all the graphic details of their labor and delivery. I will totally take all the pain meds the doc gives me as well as drink plenty of fluids, I am sure Gran will make sure of that.

I plan on laying low for two weeks, then we have spring break. Not that I have any plans; other than cleaning for bunco that week. I am trying to stay positive, maybe I will lose that last 10 pounds of baby fat. Yes, my baby is almost 3.5 years old. Don't judge me. :)

On to the Consulate in NY

That precious last piece of paper came back from the Secretary of State yesterday. Next it heads to New York. Now it does look like Tim will have to expedite his passport. He is not traveling, but China wants a copy of it.

I did buy paint last weekend to start working on her room. Well that has not panned out yet. I did almost finish the French memo board, I ran out of ribbon. Also I did get a little crafty and made (I guess you would say scrapbook pages) of her name. Once I have them framed I will take a picture. I think they turned out cute, the boys liked them.

I am feeling a little bit of cabin fever today. I think I will venture out later without my kiddos. I really should stay home and clean since Carter's bday party is tomorrow. It will be fine, I do my best work under pressure. :)

Today was the big wrestling tournament for the bitty wrestling in our area. Carter came in 2nd (not bad for a first year wrestler), and Chandler came in 4th. Here are a few pictures of them and their medals.

Hope your day was filled with love from your special sweetie. I bought the boys some candy and each a book from a really cool used book store in Bluffton. Tim and I went to dinner and a movie. We saw Taken, very good. I highly recommend it.

I also sent that last piece of paper to the Secretary of State today to put their little seal on it. Once I get it back it goes to NY.

I got the last bit of paperwork in the mail that we needed, the I800A. YIPPEE. So now it is off to the races so to speak. This has to be notorized and all that jazz.

More good news

I just have to say that I really really love our adoption agency. (CCAI) I emailed them this morning about the whole USCIS thing. I got an email from them at 4:25 pm saying they would email USCIS and copy me on it. 4:27 pm I was cc'd on the email. 4:47 pm USCIS emailed us all and TADA our approved I-800A will be coming soon baby!

It made me smile and do a little dance in the kitchen!
