Dossier COMPLETE

Dossier complete was the subject line from my agency. Music to my ears! The last piece of paper (lab results) was faxed over this morning. In celebration, I made smores.

Well if I was being honest with you, I made smores because shopping with two little boys (6 and 3) is nerve racking to me. So I really made smores as a consolation for surviving WM this morning.

Back to the dossier, it is in "transition" now and will be sent to China in the next few days.

I decided to add paper laterns above Mia's bed. I found the eyelet ones at WM on clearance and the pink one at the $ Tree. I am still on the look out for an oval mirror and a map of either the world or just China. I do know that Chandler will be bringing home his art work for the year soon. He has some cool stuff, maybe a piece or two can go on the wall by her bed.

Mother's Day

I hope that everyone had a great Mother's day. My 4 guys made me breakfast in bed. Chandler made the scrambled eggs, Carter made the toast and poured my apple juice, Tim made the bacon (and carried the fork), and Christian brought me the napkin. How sweet! They were also so proud of themselves. I gave them all a smooch and thought how blessed I am to be their mommy.

FedEx

My precious document is headed to NY via FedEx. This is the first time that I have used them and felt very awkward. I am using a courier in NY to take the papers to the Chinese Consulate. They should be done in 4 days, then straight to CO.

Tim had his bloodwork done last Thursday. I will give the doctor's office a little jingle tomorrow to see if our paperwork is ready. (It has been my experience with them that I need to take a couple of blank copies of the physical in case they mess it up).
