RR Tracks

While the big guys went to soccer and football practice, Christian and I headed to the tracks. We had a lot of fun doing these.

Hope

Everytime someone drives by the house real slow to take a look, we get hope. Hope that they will want to have a showing, hope that they will want to buy it. We had that hope last night. Someone drove by twice, then Chandler said he saw them today looking from the back. So I will keep praying my prayer that it will sell soon.

Band Aids

My children are obsessed with needing a band aids for boo boos. I go through a box a week. Now they are not accident prone children. They just think that every scratch no matter how minor needs one.

Exhibit A: Christian and his boo boo beside his nose. Doesn't he remind you of a turkey?

Nesting or anxiousness?

I am not sure what has gotten into me this week. I have been cleaning. Not just the usual stuff that gets messed up as soon as you do it. I mean cupboards and stove. Could it be nesting? Or could it be that I am anxious for this house to sell? Maybe both. I figure the more I do now, the easier it will be if the house sells. Good plan, right?

Take a look at my handy work.... (The stove had not been cleaned in a LONG LONG time).

For sale

Not a lot going on here. House is still for sale. We have had one open house, and 3 sets of people request showings. We had one this week. Everyone likes the house, but no offers yet. I have been praying about this house selling before December 2009, ALOT. I really think that it will be a good move for our family in the long run.

Summer Fun

We just got back from an Arkansas trip. The boys were there for two weeks. Yes, Tim and I were childless for two weeks!! It was a nice break for everyone; parents, kids, and grandparents.

I sold my 1968 Dodge Dart while I was there. I really thought that I would be a lot sadder than I was, but nope. I remembered all the times it left me stranded on the road, or when the heat would NOT shut off in the Arkansas summer. (No wonder I was skinny then!) I hope it goes to a good home.

I did meet my siblings significant others and a new baby cousin for the first time. It was a good visit and I am having a hard time with re-entry into the real world again.
