Fire Inspection and Prints

We passed the fire inspection with flying colors! He also approved the downstairs for sleeping. Good news, because Chandler does have a room down there. I also got ink rolled since the FBI portion of my fingerprints were rejected.

So far it has been a good week. The weather makes it even lovelier.

Tonight Carter and I will be going on a farm field trip with his preschool. I need to charge up my batteries for my digital camera, so I can take some pictures later.

Saturday we pick up my Granny in Terra Haute, IN. My parents are bringing her half way. She is going to watch the boys for 2 weeks while I proctor the state achievement tests.

Vital Records

I have sent in for the certified copies of my AR marriage licence and MO birth certificate. It normally takes about 2 weeks to get back. From there I will send the copies to the Secretary of States (MO and AR). Then they go to the Chinese Consulate (Houston --for AR and Chicago for MO). Of course there are fees along the way...... Just another step closer!

I was able to set up the fire inspection. They are coming out Wednesday. That gives me time to pick up and clean the house! So far no cost...

Busy week this week; orthodontist appt, farm field trip, hair cuts, fire inspection, soccer practices, speech. Ahh the life of a busy family!

Fingerprint Woes

Well looks like my fingerprints that were taken at Owens were rejected. What does that mean? It means I get to have them done the OLD SCHOOL way with ink. I will run out there sometime next week and have them done again. The good news is that it is not going to cost me a thing.

Tim's dad was stationed in Germany when he was a young man and took some really cool photos. I scanned them and recently just got these in the mail. I will hang them on my barren living room walls. (I have one more, but it is on Sn*pfish).

A Sunny Day!

Can you believe it the sun is out!! I am pretty pumped. We will definitely be outside today. WOO HOO!

Today Tim took the day off and went to Books and Breakfast at Chandler's school. He called and said they had a good time. The book fair was at school; hence the title Books and Breakfast. :)

Didn't walk yesterday, but boy I did clean. I must be nesting for Fran! I mopped, wiped down cupboards, and vacuumed. Trust me mopping at my house is no small feat. I have started using Mrs. Meyers, expensive, but boy does it smell good. (Lemon Verbena) I need to go buy more when I am out and about today.

Kind of a slow day here on the home front.

Simmer Down Now!

OK, so I am over my perturbness from yesterday. I started working on the other forms that I do have control over. Tim and I will have to sit down together and fill out a couple forms later this week.

I am ready for summer and school to be over. This year was not the best or the worst teaching. I am just ready to be done, ya know?

This is week 2 of me walking 2.5 miles a day, trying to lose that babyfat. ;) Hmm, you say isn't your baby 2.5 years old? Right, I know. But I never lost the last 10 pounds from Carter or the 6 pounds from Christian and now I have gained a few more from just enjoying food and sitting on my behind. Plus I don't enjoy the way I look right now. I think a reasonable goal is 130 pounds, a dream goal would be 120.
